La musique n’est pas un blues typique, mais l’histoire est du blues le plus profond. L’histoire tristement belle d’un homme qui veut rentrer chez lui après des décennies. C’est trop tard, beaucoup trop tard! Car ce n’était plus le même chien et la lumière derrière les rideaux s’était éteinte depuis longtemps.
Cela fait trois décennies que j’avais pensé à chanter «L’Italien» du grand Serge Reggiani. De grands sentiments comme seuls les Français, ou dans ce cas, seuls les Italo-Français, peuvent les véhiculer.
J’avais longtemps redouté de chanter une chanson du maestro. Maintenant, c’est parti!!!

Meine Lieben, hier ist meine dritte Single:
„L’ITALIEN (Mon Hommage à Serge Reggiani)“!
Die Musik ist wohl kein typischer Blues, aber die Geschichte ist allertiefster Blues. Eine traurig schöne Geschichte eines Mannes, welcher nach Jahrzehnten nach Hause kommen möchte. Spät, viel zu spät. Denn es war nicht mehr derselbe Hund und das Licht hinter den Vorhängen ging schon vor langer Zeit aus.
Seit drei Jahrzehnten hatte ich daran gedacht, Serge Reggianis „L’Italien“ zu singen. Grosse Gefühle, wie sie nur Franzosen, oder in diesem Fall, nur Italo-Franzosen transportieren können. Ich hatte mich lange davor gefürchtet, ein Lied vom Maestro zu singen. Jetzt ist es soweit!
